How to install WordPress on OneiHost shared hosting Print

Most OneiHost shared plans can install WordPress in a few minutes.

Log in to cPanel.
Open Softaculous Apps Installer or the WordPress installer icon.
Click Install next to WordPress.
Choose the domain (and folder if you do not want it on the homepage).
Set the site name, admin username, and a strong password. Do not use admin as the username.
Finish the install, then bookmark the WordPress admin URL.

After install, update WordPress, themes, and plugins regularly. Keep a backup before major changes.
