How to enable free SSL (HTTPS) for your website Print

  • 0

HTTPS encrypts traffic between visitors and your site. Visitors see the padlock in the browser.

  1. Make sure the domain DNS already points to your OneiHost hosting.
  2. Log in to cPanel.
  3. Open SSL/TLS Status or AutoSSL / Let's Encrypt.
  4. Select your domain and run AutoSSL / issue the certificate.
  5. Force HTTPS by enabling the force HTTPS option, or ask support if you need a redirect rule.

If SSL fails, the usual cause is DNS still pointing elsewhere, or a CAA record blocking the certificate authority.
